Within a week of the consultation, the new Digital Office™
site was operational. At this time, ColSpace provided OMD team members
and client team members with face-to-face training, teaching then
how to use the tools and set up site functions for ongoing use.
From there, ColSpace initiated a phased rollout and training schedule
for each of the different offices and departments slated to begin
using the site. In addition, the ColSpace team made their comprehensive
Digital Office™ Handbook available for download from the workspace
site.
According to Shari, her colleagues and the client-side team put
the site to immediate use.
“The ColSpace system is very user-friendly,” she says.
“Plus, you can access documents from anywhere that you can
get on the web, which makes it easier to share files and communicate
with other people on the account - even if you’re on the road
or working from home.”

Today, nearly 40 people use the site between five and ten times per
week, accomplishing with a few clicks of a mouse what previously required
reams of paper and a daily dependence on overnight shipping services.
In fact, OMD’s billing department has even begun to use the
site to post media invoices, which can pile up quickly, from the various
outlets from which client buys advertising time and space.
“ColSpace has delivered good service and a quality product,”
says Shari. “It has facilitated communication with our agencies
and cut down on our costs.” |
